The Aura Walden is a 15-inch frame that fills a room. Compared to the smaller Aura models, this one makes a real statement on a wall or mantel.

The 1920 by 1080 Full HD screen is sharp enough at this size. Pixel density is lower than the Mason Luxe, but you sit farther from a 15-inch frame, so you will not notice individual pixels.

Wall mounting is simple. The frame comes with the hardware you need. It also works on a desk, but at 15 inches, most people hang it on a wall or lean it on a shelf.

Aura keeps the same app and free unlimited storage across all their frames. Add as many photos as you want. Invite your whole family to contribute. The Walden pulls from Google Photos and iCloud just like the smaller models.

Photo transitions are smooth. The frame crossfades between images and does a nice job matching pairs of related photos. You can set the speed in the app, anywhere from every few seconds to once per hour.

At $150 for a 15-inch frame with free storage, the Walden is a solid value. Most 15-inch frames cost $200 or more. The tradeoff is that there is no touchscreen and no video playback. But for photo slideshows on a big screen, this is hard to beat.
