Full Review
The Brookstone PhotoShare is a solid all-around digital frame. It combines a touchscreen, WiFi, and offline storage options at a fair price.
The 10.1-inch screen at 1280 by 800 is standard for this price range. Photos look clean and colorful. The touchscreen feels natural — swipe to browse, tap to select, and use the on-screen menu to change settings.
What makes the PhotoShare stand out is flexibility. You can load photos three ways: through the app over WiFi, from a USB drive, or from an SD card. The app connects to Google Photos, Facebook, and Dropbox, giving you plenty of options.
Up to 20 people can share photos to a single frame through the app. Each person gets their own account. This makes it great for families spread across different cities.
The app itself is not the best. It syncs slowly at times and the interface feels cluttered. But once your photos are on the frame, everything runs smoothly.
Cloud storage is free through the app. There is no listed storage limit, though very heavy use may slow things down. USB and SD card support means you always have a backup option.
At $120, the Brookstone PhotoShare gives you more features than most frames at this price. The touchscreen alone puts it ahead of the Pix-Star and Nixplay, which both skip touch controls. A reliable choice for families who want options.
Our Verdict
A well-rounded mid-range frame with a touchscreen and multiple photo sources. Good balance of price and features.
