The full review

The Aura Mason Luxe was a 9.7-inch frame with a 2048 by 1536 screen. That is a lot of pixels for its size. We did not test it in a lab. This page is built from Aura's published specs.

You set it up in the Aura app over Wi-Fi. Photos can come from Google Photos, iCloud, or your phone. Anyone you invite can send photos to the frame too.

Aura says the frame has a light and colour sensor. The screen dims at night and adjusts to the light in the room.

There is no touch screen. You control the frame from the app.

Aura includes unlimited cloud storage for free. There is no monthly fee and no storage cap.

Aura has stopped selling the Mason Luxe. The Amazon link on this page now goes to the Aura Aspen 12-inch, a current Aura frame. For most shoppers we point to the Aura Carver, which keeps the same free storage. Its screen is 1280 by 800, not 2048 by 1536.
