The Aura Mason Luxe stands out the moment you turn it on. The 9.7-inch screen packs 2048 by 1536 pixels. That is more than most laptops. Your photos look crisp and real, like a printed picture hanging on the wall.

Setup takes about five minutes. Download the Aura app, connect to WiFi, and start adding photos. You can pull pictures from Google Photos, iCloud, or your phone camera roll. Anyone you invite can also send photos to the frame.

The auto-brightness sensor is a nice touch. The screen dims at night and brightens during the day. Colors adjust to match the room lighting. Photos never look washed out or too bright.

One thing to know: there is no touchscreen. You control everything through the app. Some people prefer swiping on the frame itself. But the app works well and lets you manage photos from anywhere.

The frame stores every photo in the cloud for free. No monthly fee, no storage cap. Even if you load thousands of pictures, you will not pay extra.
