The Frameo 10.1-inch frame proves you do not need to spend $150 or more to get a good digital frame. At under $80, this is the cheapest WiFi touchscreen frame worth buying.

Like the Feelcare, it runs the Frameo app. Family members download the app, enter a code, and start sending photos. The touchscreen shows incoming photos and lets you swipe, zoom, and browse with simple gestures.

The 1280 by 800 screen is the same resolution as frames costing twice as much. Photos look clear and colorful. Viewing angles are decent but not as wide as IPS panels on premium frames.

Built-in storage is 16 GB. That is enough for thousands of photos. There is no cloud backup, so keep your originals on your phone. If the frame dies, photos stored on it are lost.

Build quality is basic. The plastic body is light and the bezels are wide. It does not look as elegant as an Aura or Skylight on a shelf. But for the price, it works and it works well.

Setup takes about three minutes. Plug it in, connect to WiFi, and open the Frameo app on your phone. The whole family can be sending photos within five minutes.

At $80, this is the easiest recommendation on this list for budget shoppers. You get WiFi, a touchscreen, and the excellent Frameo app. If you want better build quality and more features, spend more. But if you want a good frame at the lowest price, the Frameo 10.1 is it.
