The full review

The Nixplay 15.6-inch frame had a Full HD 1920 by 1080 screen. Nixplay's own listing for it is gone. We did not test it in a lab. This page is built from Nixplay's published specs and plan page.

Like the smaller Nixplay, it plays video clips with sound. The free plan limits clips to 15 seconds.

It can hang on a wall in landscape or portrait, and it has a stand for a desk.

Google Photos, Dropbox, Facebook and Instagram need a paid Nixplay plan. Email to the frame is free. A motion sensor turns the screen off when nobody is around.

You still get only 500 MB of free cloud storage. The Aura Walden is a 15-inch frame with unlimited free storage. Aura plays video too, up to 30 seconds a clip, but it stays silent unless you tap the bar.

If video with sound matters to you and you want a large screen, Nixplay still sells a 15.6-inch touch frame in its own store. If you only need photo slideshows, the Aura Walden has no plan to pay for.
